In his mind, he was able to separate the evil Pupkin from the average puppet which didn't do anything weird. ![]() He basically followed what he thought were his mother's wishes. It made sense to me! He no longer seemed to care much for puppets after his trauma, but he loved his mother so much he was willing to hold a service full of puppets.
